The first step is to discuss what you really need. I usually hold this short consultation online, but if you don’t like video calls, we can do it by email too – simply by answering a few questions.
Things we’ll go through:
- What kind of business you have and what you want to achieve with it
- What type of website would be best for reaching that goal
- Whether you already have a logo or branding
- If there’s any website you really like
- If there’s anything you definitely don’t want
- What features your website will need
Quote
Once we’ve clarified exactly what you need, I’ll send you a detailed quote. You’ll find everything you need in it to decide whether you’d like to work with me. If you say yes – that’s when the real work begins!
Defining Your Target Audience & Moodboard
Based on your business, we’ll define your target audience. We’ll also take a look at your competitors’ websites (if they have one) – what they’re doing well and what could be improved.
Another important step is defining the overall vibe of your website. For this, I’ll create a moodboard with images, colors, and fonts to help shape the design direction.
UX & UI Design
Now comes the exciting part!
I’ll build the structure of your website using wireframes. A wireframe is a black-and-white sketch that shows the layout of the site without any design elements yet. This helps us spot mistakes and avoid misunderstandings early, making the design process much smoother.
Once you’ve approved the wireframes and all the necessary content has been added, I’ll start designing the website. Based on the moodboard, I’ll create the design, make adjustments if needed, and only after your approval will we move on to the actual build. This way, we won’t have to make major changes on a half-built site, which would be much more time-consuming.
Development, Testing & Handover
I’ll build your website with custom code (HTML, CSS, PHP) to ensure the best possible results.
Before handover, I’ll thoroughly test the website to make sure it works perfectly on every device and that all functions run smoothly.
Finally, I’ll launch your website – ready for you to use to grow your business and reach success!
